Abuse. A subject we’re not supposed to talk about. That’s why Suzanne Vega wrote this disturbing song, which by the way, went all the way to #3 on the charts. A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds. 5 children die every day from child abuse and neglect. 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate or domestic partner. 

Would you know how to intervene and help someone who seems to be an abuse victim? Maybe that’s something to think about, or even to learn more about.
